About Me

My name is Jennifer Raulerson. I’m a mom of three adult boys, mother-in-love to three amazing young women, and a “Lolly” to the most beautiful granddaughter in the world. I’ve been a nurse for the past thirty years and truly loved most of my career; it was what God called me to do during that season of my life. I’ve watched life ushered into this world and watched it wane to both gentle and difficult ends. In April of 2023, my 14-year-old nephew ended his own life. Just two weeks later, my husband, soulmate, and the love of my life died suddenly and unexpectedly, under very traumatic circumstances. I can truly say that it felt as if my world fell apart. Grief didn’t just topple me; it destroyed me…but GOD.
I’ve survived many storms in my life; sexual trauma, divorce, addiction, compassion fatigue, caregiver stress, immense grief, anxiety, church hurt…to name a handful. One result of many of these was the presence of shame & regret and C-PTSD. A positive result of each of these was a closer relationship to God. Christian mental health options are few, but I knew that Jesus wasn’t part of the journey to healing; he was THE pathway. For me, it was a path I had to find my way to on my own but, for you, it doesn’t have to be. I wholeheartedly believe that, as God walked me through so many trials, purpose was being borne out of each of them. In my own grief, I began publicly journaling my path to healing, posting it on an online blog called God is in the Outcome. You can read some of my experiences with both divorce and death by clicking on the blog title above.
My calling now leads me to light the candles of others until they can see their own way to the real Light of Hope. As a Certified Master Mental Health Coach, credentialed by the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) I hope you will let me help you find your way, too.
